Independent Candidate Mpayimana Philippe Shares Vision for Foreign Affairs and Infrastructure Development

During a campaign stop in Nyagatare District, independent presidential candidate Mpayimana Philippe outlined his plans for foreign affairs and infrastructure development if elected as the Head of State.

He expressed his commitment to establishing a strong union for Rwandans living abroad and restructuring embassies to better serve the diaspora community.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of engaging Rwandans living abroad in the growth of local industries by learning from foreign countries where they are currently located.

Addressing the people of Gatsibo District, Mpayimana Philippe promised to focus on building sustainable infrastructure, including roads, and encouraging investors to construct interconnected housing units with commercial spaces on the lower floors.

He also highlighted his 50-point plan aimed at addressing various issues facing the nation, such as combating teenage pregnancy by holding perpetrators accountable.

As he concluded his campaign activities in Nyagatare and Gatsibo Districts, Mpayimana Philippe expressed satisfaction with the turnout and participation of the people.

He thanked the community for their support and expressed confidence in his chances of winning the upcoming elections.

Looking ahead, he announced plans to continue his campaign activities in the Northern Province, specifically in Burera and Musanze Districts on June 26, 2024.
