Promises of Progress: Frank Habineza’s Healthcare Insurance Solutions

During a campaign rally that took place on Tuesday, June 25, in Kigina Sector, Kirehe District, Dr. Frank HABINEZA, the Green Party’s chairperson and presidential candidate, assured health insurance users that they would receive more services related to getting the medicines they need once elected president.

The Democratic Green Party of Rwanda (DGPR) campaign was attended by enthusiastic applause from the local population, who turned out in large numbers to show their support. They were informed about the party’s manifesto aimed at enhancing the well-being of Rwandan citizens and fostering national development, and they also saw the candidates who will represent the party in the upcoming elections.

The DGPR is a political party founded on the principles of democracy and environmental protection.

Some of the Green Party activists said that there are valid reasons why they decided to support the candidate, Frank HABINEZA, including his strong word-of-mouth defense.

They noted that the party achieved significant victories, including a decrease in property tax from 300 Frw/m2 to 80 Frw/m2 and a change in land rental title from 20 to 99 years.

Habineza highlighted that he is committed to promoting good health and ensuring easy access to medication for the patients.

He continued that they proposed that health insurance, such as Mutuelle, would cover immediate treatment costs, and trusting him would lead to similar treatment.

He said, “We want those with Mituelle de Santé insurance to access medicines at all private pharmacies. We would do this because the idea of Mituelle de Santé insurance allowing immediate treatment payment is a concept that has also been proposed by our party.”

Additionally, Dr. Frank HABINEZA promises Kirehe residents constant clean water, ending the summer water crisis, if they vote for him.

He said, “It should go into law that every Rwandan has the right to clean water, especially for Kirehe residents. The government has a responsibility to ensure that every Rwandan has at least five jerrycans of clean water a day. The government will provide it free of charge to the citizen; if he wants more, then he will pay.”

He praised the progress made through advocacy and believes that further efforts will lead to 5,000 job creations annually to reduce unemployment.

Habineza pledged to continue prioritizing his promises to the people until all aspects are implemented.
